lloyd Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Yesterday, Octavio Aguiar of "ODA Enterprises" was killed by a vehicle while riding his scooter to the local store. For those of you who didn't know him, "Octave" (as we called him) was a genuine GEM of a guy. He helped everyone, and made a nice line of firing equipment for both amateurs and pros, alike. He'll be greatly missed, and those of us who knew him are sorrowed by his passing.Lloyd
Mumbles Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 That is a mighty shame. I met him a couple of times at PGI. Genuinely nice and engaging gentleman.
Adrenaline Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I have just received some more bad news: Dr. Toivo Willmann (whom most of you probably knew, seeing that he sometimes posted on here) also passed away last month at the age of 61.I don't have any information on the cause of his death, but he will surely be missed, especially in brazil where he spent a large amount of his life, basically single handedly reforming the local pyrotechnic industry.
lloyd Posted March 1, 2018 Author Posted March 1, 2018 So sorry! It's hard to lose friends, anyway. But it's even harder if you share common backgrounds. Lloyd
