PhoenixRising Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Indi formulas use 18 parts magnalium, not the 15 parts that was listed in the beginning of this thread.
Mumbles Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 There are several incarnations of Independence Red floating around. I've never seen the original source or publication other than Passfire so it's hard to say which is legitimate or more correct.

PhoenixRising Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) I think you're right, seen one or two incorrect sources, one of them being on FW surprisingly, though it's not publicly listed. Here's a couple sources real fast, with creagan.net page as the first one I ever saw. http://www.creagan.net/fireworks/compositions.html#Indy https://pyrodata.com/compositions/Independence-Red and a third one here, though he "incorrectly" lists the nitrate at 46 instead of 50. See post 9. https://www.amateurpyro.com/forums/topic/8829-best-green-composition/ Really interested in that Kyle K formula that Dave listed at the end of the thread. And funny thing is, Mike, I looked at this thread SEVERAL times and only recently caught the typo. It's one of those things, you glance at a common formula and never give it a second thought sometimes. Ever walk into another room in your house, and then forget why the hell you went in there in the first place? (G. Carlin) Edited October 25, 2018 by PhoenixRising
