wizard7611 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I've seen many Chinese ball shells being made, but how are their cylinder shells made? Do they even spike them?
Wiley Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Nope, because they are canister shells, not cylinders. They rely on their rigid casings for strength rather than the integrity of the fill.

I don't know if the same rules apply to these larger shells.
Wiley Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I've seen those made from two roughly cup-shaped halves filled and joined much line a ball shell. They are not spiked. Some of us do spike ball shells, though
