Nice colours and very impressive breaks - what are you using for burst/pasting?

Thanks.

For pasting I just use gummed kraft tape. The break charge is 25 gram of slow flash powder, in the ratio 6:3:1 (KNO3:Ai:S)

I do recommend however, if you have ball milled KNO3, to use less. Maybe like 15 grams. I just blended the KNO3 to a fine powder.

It works very well. How many layers of gummed tape and in what fashion?

Also, how do you prime the stars? Cheers.

I hand paste the shells. They contain about 12-15 layers of gummed tape.

The star prime is milled BP + 5% Si. One star composition, the blue one, I primed with a very thick layer of C6. I made 1 test shell to test the C6 prime in an exceptionally hard break.

I used 40 grams of flash powder KClO4:Ai (67:33) and they light just fine. It was just a test. The bang it makes is just too loud for an non-salute shell.
