braddsn Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 (edited) A few shells I shot tonight. I was close to the guns so viewing straight up, the breaks were a little too big to fit in the frame. Enjoy! Edited November 21, 2017 by braddsn 5
Wiley Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Nice ones, Brad! You shot any 10s (or 12s) yet?
chuckufarley Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Nice shells! That second one sure did hang nicely
braddsn Posted November 21, 2017 Author Posted November 21, 2017 There are actually 3 videos there. For some reason, the 2nd video is just the text link. lol. Wiley, the biggest shell I have made is an 8, because that's the biggest guns I have. hehe. One of these days I will get a 10 inch gun and do it. I am having to split my pyro time now between building, and working for a pyro company.. keeping me on my toes for sure!
rogeryermaw Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Beautiful as always! You never disappoint brother.
dynomike1 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) Next time i go to the other side of the county, i'll see if there any big tubes left, i need a 12 myself. What kind of Pyro co. you talking about Mfg. or just shooters? HA HA he wouldn't have any 8" if it wasn't for me. Edited November 22, 2017 by dynomike1
braddsn Posted November 27, 2017 Author Posted November 27, 2017 Mike I would barely have any mortars/racks if it weren't for you! I got hired by Central States Fireworks in Illinois, and quickly got promoted to lead operator. So I am shooting shows year around. I shot one on black friday. In Illinois there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get licensed. You have to be licensed through the ATF, the IDNR, AND the state fire marshal. I finally got all that done, and am waiting for my bunker to get delivered (shipping container), then the whole process will finally be done.
dynomike1 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) What kind of bunker you getting? I thought i read you were limited on distance just put a berm around it, that would lessen your table of distance. I am building a 10" SOS now, and i ran out of stars. 2lbs was only 1/2 enough, so i had to stop and roll some more. I guess the timing came out right for as warm as it is. braddsn Posted November 29, 2017 Author Posted November 29, 2017 You must have been thinkin' of somebody else Mike. I am not limited on distance. I have 50 acres. The pyro company (Central States Fireworks) that I am working for is putting a shipping container in my field for me to use.
dynomike1 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I could have misread it. Not hard to do when you are trying to catch up.
dynomike1 Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Might have missread this one to. Have you checked with Crossout on Parlon? I got some Kclo4 and was well pleased.
braddsn Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 I get both parlon and perc from him. Excellent stuff at an excellent price!
