Ubehage Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Ned Gorski built himself a new little rig for spiking shells. Instead of having to wet and roll out the string on his old spiking horse, he can now roll it in continous lengths, as he's spiking the shells. All in all, it is a rather simple construction. Might just be one of the best things since sliced bread Here is a video where he shows the construction and explains how it works:
OldMarine Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 I watched that during lunch today and was very impressed. Simple yet very functional. 1
dagabu Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 i really like the idea but Im not a fan of the glue, maybe a 50:50 mix but that is too thick for me. I sure can see putting one of those in my bench, the bottom feed makes a lot of sense to me. 1
