If you want a bright ass white star try Bill Ofca's Illuminating White. It will blind you!

It looks grey in comparison to real white stars.

That is an old composition it produces a very old dull white by modern standards, but it's approximately neutral in colour! However it is easy by modern European material availability. Modern whites have lots of fine metal content and possibly lots of perc.
