Sorry, it's a little after Easter now, hope you will enjoy anyways.

It's an eatable shell made of candy (instead of those boring chocolate eggs)! Totally safe, unless you burn yourself on melted chocolate ;)

First of all I want to say that I have no idea what the candy used in the tutorial are called, so I hope you understand what it is. Help me with the names you you can.

Okay first you need to make a mold. If you have some plastic hemis you can use them. If you don't have fancy plastic hemis, cut a pingpong ball into two equal pieces. Smear a thin layer of honey around the inside of both hemis and put plastic foil tightly to the inside (the honey will make the foil stick).

Melt some chocolate on your desired way. I used the microwave. First 20-30 secs > stirring > 10 secs > stirring > 5 secs > stirring.

Pour some chocolate in the hemis untill filled and let cool. To speed up cooling use a fridge.

Meanwhile we can prepare the fuse. I use some sour candy ribbon and liquorice string. The end of the sour candy ribbon is heated with a heat source (candle or so) and bended around the liquorice string. It is heated again to seal completely.

Once the chocolates are totally hardened you can carefully take the chocolate out.

Now heat only one of the chocolate's end with a heat source. Only a thin layer of the surface must be melted. Push the two hemis together and let cool.

Now for lifting charge. Cut up liquorice string and put it in a suitable lift container. I used those things used for candles.

Now melt some more chocolate and attach fuse as you would do with a normal shell. Glue with melted chocolate.

Do the same with lifting container. You can also add a rising tail by cutting a piece of any candy that is cylinder shaped (If i just knew what it was called <_<

Let it cool. Now the shell is finished!

Once cooled load it in your mortar.

Light the fuse and... Boom!!
