MadMat Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 I have a formula for aqua colored stars that calls for PVC. I only have parlon for a chlorine donor and would like to know if I could substitute the PVC with parlon. If so, what would the ratio be?
usapyro Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Try it 1-1 and see what happens. You probably won't notice the difference.
lloyd Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Eh... Saran and Parlon exchange about 1:1, but PVC has so many variables from type-to-type, you might have to experiment some. 1:1 is a good place to start, but if you start seeing extraneous sparks trailing the star, consider reducing it. Lloyd
