vol47 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 (edited) One of the suppliers now has Magnalium -8+20 mesh. I saw another post on here that said coarse Magnalium does not work well in fountains as it is not ejected through the nozzle but causes the fountain to "blow". Anybody else tried Magnalium of that size in a fountain?? Edited February 3, 2017 by vol47
vol47 Posted February 3, 2017 Author Posted February 3, 2017 What was your nozzle made of? Bentonite Clay? Ever try plaster of Paris?
kleberrios Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 this video don't is mine but I also made and dont work well. I used fine clay without sand well compressed
lloyd Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I, personally, would not recommend Mg/Al as a spark-producer. It acts primarily as a fuel. Coarse aluminum will produce nice sparks, as will titanium. Mg/Al is usually consumed in the fire. Lloyd
