1lb hybrid bp/benzo

I pressed some 1 lb rockets. The fuel was 75/25 screen mix bp with erc charcoal / HOT 76/23/1/3 benzo whistle.

How are hybrid rockets usually lit? From the top of the core or just as a whistle rocket?

I side fuse my hybrid rockets and just touch comp like

You would for a whislte. I have had no issues with this way. But I'm pretty new to the rocketry world.
