Sparx88 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 This is in response to another thread about using cotton coal in pyro. The video is simply a comparison to show the performance of cotton balls and a more popular eastern red cedar from pet bedding. The erc bp is standard 75/15/10/2 as well as the cotton bp. The difference in grain size plays a part here as I don't have both the same. The cotton is used for lift and is sized to work well with 2-3" ball shells at a tad larger than 3fg. The erc is 4fg approx. Now, neither of these on the best day, will not outperform paulownia/black willow. erc and cotton can be bought very cheap where cutting to much off my paulownias makes them unhappy, I assume. I just hug'm a little and all is well . I figure some people around the world could maybe benefit from this so I started a new thread for that. Hope it helps. ercvscb.mp4 .
