Caramanos2000 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I dont know if its been posted but its cool anyways. http://www.users.qwest.net/~jhove1/bicarcas.htmlMaybe small payloads? Could I just put an este engine on the top of a long stick and improvise a payload?
deadman Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Not every "cool" webpage deserves it's own thread or even post on this forum. It may have been fine in the random thread, but to make a new thread in the Rocketry forum of another website is a great way to waste space. It is a very cool webpage. Yes by putting a small engine motor at the top of a stick, is the idea behind a bottle rocket. As for payloads, use caution and common sense. For such a small motor, it will not be able to carry a big payload.
deadman Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I am not interested in being a mod, but I do believe the current mods would have a problem with the fact that you are posting useless posts. This is known as post whoring. I am not trying to pick on you, just keep the forum tidy and on topic with posts that are relevant to the thread.
FrankRizzo Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 That site was neat and worthy of a new topic. Many of the pyros here are interested in miniature effects. Thanks for sharing How about we leave the moderating to the mods..mmkay?
Mumbles Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Yep, this topic is legit. However Deadman is right. Not every new site, or question you have deserves a new thread. You really haven't done anything wrong here yet, just going off what I've seen from the UK Pyro Society site. You have a tendancy to start a lot of new threads for your questions. About the only gripe I have is a particularly uninformative title. Anyway, yes, leave the moderating to us. We'll take care of useless topics and such.
