MeowMix Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I made my star roller today, using a corded drill as the drive for it. The bowl is just a 5 gallon bucket. I put in some mustard seeds and started to attempt my first roll, but before I started, I turned off the roller for a minute, and noticed that my mustard seeds were holding themselves a few inches up from he bottom of the bucket, along the walls. I could knock em off fairly easy and they'd return to their pile at the bottom. Is this bad/cause comps to ignite? And if so, I'd love to know how to fix it.
OldMarine Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 You need a static ground to your bucket. That's hard because the charge is built up on the surface. Try misting just a tiny bit of water or whatever you are binding with and see what happens. I'll bet it stops.
mikeee Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 A brand new plastic bucket is going to have some static charge built up in the plastic.
