Wet stars flying off

I spilled some stars in my backyard a few days ago, and left them in a small pile. It rained for a few days in between. I came back out today and tried lighting one just for the fun of it, and as soon as it dried and lit, it shot off and made a whizzing sound as it flew at hit my fence. They were Veline Purple Stars. I'll post a video soon
