i have 8 gallon jugs of cloro that are ready to explode. what would cause this. it was delivered from my supplier last week. this is very strange. I never have seen this before. I was not in the sun.

the bottlles were swollen and ready to split the plastic bottle apart or as i said explode.. there was very little pressure inside the bottles. not enough to make them like they were.

Were you able to hear gas escaping when you opened them? Were they atmospherically sealed on arrival? Perhaps a change in elevation?

you could hear gas leaving the gallon jug. at most a 300 meter change in altitude.
