sgtbiker Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 one thing you have to remember is your motor is DC so regular household current will not work since that is AC. on way you can control the speed of your motor is buy a cheap dimmer switch like the ones you have in your house to dim the light in the ceiling run your + wire to one side of the switch and then from the other side of the switch run a wire to your motor. this is how I control all the speeds for my homemade Halloween props it works great.

sgtbiker Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 I have never had a problem with household wall dimmers been using them to run my D.C. Halloween props for years and never had a problem with them.
