braddsn Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Fired a few shells tonight. I wish my camera did a better job at rendering the colors, but doesn't everybody? Anyways, here they are. They were all boosted with 3g slow (spanish) booster. All lifted with 20g MCRH. https://youtu.be/1jmYdG_mUP8?t=8s
braddsn Posted January 28, 2016 Author Posted January 28, 2016 The Rainbow Peony is not as symmetrical as I like, I pasted 2 less layers on this shell to see how it would perform. This is a prime example of why pasting is so important. I paste 6 layers on my 3 inch shells, this shell only got 4 layers. This is the result, a oval shaped break. https://youtu.be/v1M6bMOdcDM?t=7shttps://youtu.be/mGbQjz5Yc2s?t=4s
gregh Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Looking good, Brad. Glad to see you are still kickin...

braddsn Posted January 28, 2016 Author Posted January 28, 2016 Thanks guys! Yeah I have been building shells like a madman, I will be posting more vids of 4's, 5's, and 6's to come.
JOPETES Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Very good symmetry yellow peony !. Good observation regarding the number of layers of paper in the shell. so, to improve the symmetry must retain the explosion gases and strengthen a little more in the union of the hemispheres. I see you have already mastered well on ignition 100% of the stars, congratulations !. What diameter are the yellow and lime green stars without priming layers? ¡¡Please, you must set either the video camera to capture good colors and intensity !!
dynomike1 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Still look good. Yea the rainbow was a little warped. I wished i could build some to shoot, but i have an audit hanging over me this year.
braddsn Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 Mike, you mentioned an audit. Does that mean you cant build any shells this year? JOPETES, thank you and your advice is what helped me achieve the perfect priming technique. The stars in the yellow peony were a little too small, I plan to roll some larger ones. Tonight I will be rolling the silver and gold glitter stars from the pdf.
dynomike1 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Brad i built 13 canisters and ball. I will buy the rest. PM sent.
