Nessalco Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I just came across these guys. Probably old hat to a lot of you, but... wow. This links to one of their promotional videos, but they are the real deal - they do it live, too. Kevin 1
gregh Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Thanks Kevin. That is funny. As a former classical musician I appreciate the humor.
starxplor Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 2Cellos have done a number of covers that usually turn out great. I would 'blame' this and other similar performers on the 'sharing culture' that arose with the ease of transfering music of all kinds and the ability to take thousands of songs on the go without needing a trunk full of cassette tapes. And I couldn't be happier that these types of performance exist. I also like the violinist Lindsey Sterling, here is a cover and an original, the original is a dubstep violin song... yes, dubstep violin...
saminaz Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Haven't seen these guys before, but if you like these sort of covers, check out Apocalyptica- 4 Chellos and a drummer who cover Metallica and do good origonal stuff too.I never thought I'd hear someone play fuzz Chello!
