Pretty green flame Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 This was a 4Inch star mine, it had 200g of better pearl stars and was lifted with 60g of 20-30mesh fast willow BP (we shot it from a HDPE pipe that's why there's so much lift, we wanted a big bang ) Movie http://rapidshare.com/files/22667818/4_inc...l_mine.wmv.html Cheers
qwezxc12 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 PGF, That was an awesome mine! Details, please: Size of stars? (did you use the same size for both the 3" mine & shell and the 4" mine?) Did you use a piston or just dump the stars above the lift? Again, very nice...and I like the sound. It must have been quite loud in person.

It must have been quite loud in person. The stars were the same size for both mines, 1x1x1cm cut stars. The stars were dumped onto the lift, with only a thin piece of tissue between them to prevent the stars from mixing in with the lift.. That was basilcy it. It was packed in paper and quickmatch fused. Overall, a simple canister mine without the disk. Cheers.
Niter Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 With the noise and sheer magnitude, thats one overwhelming star mine. Bravo!
