FlaMtnBkr Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Most importantly, what are Russian women like?! >;^) I imagine they are feisty, and not just with their words. But that's probably an over generalization. Like red heads, though I've found that to be fairly accurate. Guess that just means need to find out one by one (or 2). Just joking around.
taiwanluthiers Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I heard that Russians are far more racist than any other European countries. Extreme right hate groups like Neo Nazis are very common there... and if you aren't white the police often gives you trouble. Is that true? 1
Maxim Posted December 25, 2015 Author Posted December 25, 2015 That's a lie. I know some black people, and nobody is racist to them. It's not common here. Some people don't like Kauskas people - thats true, it's the result of the Chechnya war.....Neo Nazis tried to make themselvs into a organization in 2010 and that time around, but they were crushed by police and many got in jail. My self I don't care what race or nation you are, i think good of everyone, if you are good.
lloyd Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 My self I don't care what race or nation you are, i think good of everyone, if you are good.---------------That's a great attitude, Maxim, but from personal experience, I know it to be not true of most Russians. I have you at a disadvantage, here: I have a Russian daughter-in-law and granddaughter. They freely speak of attitudes among the people, and what you say about "nobody is racist to them" is not the case in many communities. They may not be 'attacked', but they are not welcome. Perhaps it's unique to residents of Moscow, but I doubt it. Lloyd
Maxim Posted December 25, 2015 Author Posted December 25, 2015 Perhaps yes, I speak about Kalinigrad, not of the Moscow, personaly i feel that Moscow is al ot more racist then Kalinigrad, I live there and here time to time, totaly different people.
BlueComet24 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I think it's ironic that anyone in Russia would want to be a neo-Nazi even though 11 million soldiers were killed in WWII by the "real" Nazis, and there were somewhere from 7-20 million civilian deaths as a direct result of the war. There can be hateful people anywhere, though. I'm glad the police shut them down.
pirotek Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Nevertheless as an example, in Ukraine, which suffered from the Nazis in WW War more than any other Soviet republics, is now revered Nazi collaborators such as Stepan Bandera "History teaches only that she had learned nothing from the nations."(Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel)
Maxim Posted December 25, 2015 Author Posted December 25, 2015 pirotek is right, I know at least 2 guys, that ran away from Ukraine, because they didn't see any opportunity there and because of fashist organizations...
Eric70 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) Nice looking woman in a pretty dress. Very nice. We should have fireworks safety videos in the US like that one. If we did have such videos I suspect it would be a girl in a tiny bikini or some fat guy with his butt crack showing. Edited December 25, 2015 by Eric70
Eric70 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Whats new is USA? I don't here much news from there, Can you give a good news site? http://www.tmz.com/ Just kidding...but, sadly, it might be true for some.
Maxim Posted December 25, 2015 Author Posted December 25, 2015 Don't like celebrity stuff, i just don't understand the point of it! 1
MrB Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I think it's ironic that anyone in Russia would want to be a neo-Nazi even though 11 million soldiers were killed in WWII by the "real" Nazis, and there were somewhere from 7-20 million civilian deaths as a direct result of the war. There can be hateful people anywhere, though. I'm glad the police shut them down.In Russia (Soviet Union, to be more specific) i guess thats not as big an issue as they had been, and continued to kill their own people... The best numbers i've seen is an estimated 11 million civilians killed, and another million "caused deaths" by deportations, lack of medical care and poor living conditions, all in all 12 million civilian deaths caused by the Nazi, and 9 million civilian deaths caused by Soviet troops, for much the same reasons, but under a different flag. They didn't call them self nazis, but the idea was more or less to clear out the less valued people, and replace them with, a better kind. Gulag comes to mind as a quick example. Nomads in Kazakhstan is another. They starved to death after Stalin took away their means of fending for them self. All in the name of modernization. Hitler and Stalin had much the same vision. Different people to be the chosen one, and different ways to get there, but both had no qualms walking over other peoples corpses to get there. Or at least having someone else walk over other peoples corpses...(Hey, it's all water under the bridge at this point. Swedish kings killed millions, all around in Europe, at a time when a large nation contained a million people... All in the name of conquering resources, and fame. At least Hitler and Stalin had a "good" in mind, where as the Swedish kings were only out to seek fame and fortune for them self. Hitler and Stalin had the wrong idea, their "good" wasn't worth the deaths of others, but at least they didn't intentionally set out to piss on people just so that they could profit. I'm quite sure they did indeed profit regardless, but they had other intentions, that were the "main" cause. Which just proves good intentions by misinformed people can end up just as bad, or worse then an intentional evil.) What i'll never figure out is why Hitler started a crusade to kill less then 1% of the Germans. (the jew population in Germany wasn't exactly significant, best figures seam to put it at 0.75% of the German population were actually jews.) I guess thats why he went after not only the Jews, but also anyone related to a jew. 2 generations down, it didn't matter if you were a catholic priest, if grandma/pa was a jew, you should be killed. At least the persistent rumors that Hitler him self were of jewish linage has had no credible evidence. His grandmother certainly wasn't jewish, and while his father was born out of wedlock, his "most likely" father is the man grandma married, or that mans brother. You know, them old swinging catholic people... Hard to tell who fathered who. Both being catholic Christians, should make it safe to say he was not of jewish linage. Anyway, were going stupidly far off-topic for a none-political forum. Short story seams to be, the Russians, just like everyone else, simply don't remember the events before, during and after the war any better then the rest of us, meaning that stupid ideals can get a new chance at glory, and fame. Here you go FMB.How unfair. They didn't trust her to light em? What sort of discriminating is that? Don't like celebrity stuff, i just don't understand the point of it! Tits n' ass. Thats about it. B!
Maxim Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 In only began snowing in Moscow! What a strange year! Anyone who wants photoes, write me a PM!
dynomike1 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 (edited) Looks like this is the best i can do. This is something that i don't look at. If you have problems let me know.http://www.localmemphis.com/http://www.wmcactionnews5.com/The biggest thing now is the storm we just had. Edited December 26, 2015 by dynomike1
taiwanluthiers Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I just think people's desire to associate in the same group produces this kind of thing. I mean in the old days people murder each other simply for belonging to the wrong race/country/faction and it is only in recent times that we recognized that people shouldn't die for being in the wrong group. However it is in our nature to do so, and thus people find ways to justify killing those who they see as different. As soon as you start vilifying people you can justify killing just about anyone because it's the "right" thing to do.
OldMarine Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Here in Tennessee we had tornadoes and severe thunderstorms that killed at least 3 people. That's very unusual for this time of year.
dynomike1 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 The Tornadoes missed me the storm did not. I was around forty mi. north of them. Now we are fixin to deal with the river flooding. If you check the news 5 site you will find at least one shooting in memphis every night. That's why everyone around here is carrying pistols.
