I know this isnt the right place for this, but I have posted this in the Agora section, but I know not everyone looks in that section daily, or at all. I want everyone to have a chance to get in on this, that wants to. I copied the details from the first post below.

 

I forgot to mention in the first post, I do have samples on the way, and I have the plan to pass them along to anyone who wants to make a large order, to see the quality first hand. I am limited on samples, and it will need to be the puff puff pass method. You receive it, then pass it along to the next in line. If you would like a sample, let me know, as I am including all the shipping labels in the package. All you have to do it close it up and affix the new label. mail it. If you would like a sample, email me at chris@usapyrosupply.com, as there is a list growing. Please, if you are ordering one or two cases, take my word for it, that these are good, quality shells. I will post pictures as well when they arrive.

For anyone interested in cases of quality, layered paper hemisphere shells, I am now taking pre-orders for full cases. These cases are larger than the average case one can purchase here in the states. As an example, a average case of 3" shells contain 400 sets or 800 halves. This case contains 750 SETS or 1500 HALVES. The price is also cheaper than that of the lower quantity case. All the details are listed in my store, and I will post a direct link below. PLEASE read all the details on the home page. If you are doing it from a mobile device, you will not be able to see the detailed home page. This offer will be up for roughly 10-14 days, or until the container is full. The orders are flying in, so it might not last even 10 days. I do this once a year, and these cases will be for the 2016 season. We wont order another container until 2017. So get them while you can at an incredibly low rate.

 

As far as shipping, I have excluded all shipping cost from the pre-order, as many people choose to have their cases delivered to the 2016 PGI. This PGI delivery, is first come first serve, as room is limited. If you choose to have your cases shipped, please take note of the weight of the cases. They are heavier than normal, due to the large set quantity in each case. So dont go ordering 10 cases, if you aren't prepared to pay between $30-$50 per case to have it shipped. If you order a large volume, over 4 cases, freight is your best option and cheapest per case. Again, I can quote you a UPS rate, but that is a very rough estimate and the common carriers will be cheaper, but I am unable to quote you until they are here. SO with that being understood, if you place an order, you will be invoiced for the shipping when they arrive. I cant stress this enough, dont order, what you cant have shipped. I CANT refund you the money for the cases if you decide after the order has been placed, that you cant afford shipping, as your money is going directly to the factory. My profit margin is so low on these, its not even worth my time, but I like to offer great deals every now and then to my "people". So contact me for a rough quote or figure it cost $50 per case, East Coast to West Coast.

 

I am also offering half cases. BUT there is a one full case minimum. You can split the cases, for example 1/2 case of 3" and 1/2 case of 4". And only full case quantities. You cant order 5 1/2 cases.

 

Also, the order date is roughly the end of December, or until the container is full. Which ever comes first. Once this happens, and the order is placed, dont expect to hear anything for a good month to 45 days. I am making an attempt to get them here for Winterblast. But that is not guaranteed. So please visit the store for full details.

Here are some samples I got to day from the factory. These are 3" casings, and they are as good as I have seen.. Cut edge could be better, but besides this.. Excellent.

 

Container filling fast, and will be even faster now after people who wanted to see the samples have seen them. Already have a 40' container filled over 1/2 way.

If that's really $50 for 1500 Then I can't deny that that is an amazing price. Or maybe you mean $50 for shipping. Let's see what mumbles has to say about it when he sees this post.

Yes, that 30-50 is for shipping alone. Check out the link at the bottom of the original post and you can see the per-case price for whatever size you are interested in.

The price is great, and shipping isn't that bad all things considered. But it would suck to get them shipped to Sweden, so I was out the first time i read this.

All the great offers are only useful in the states, it makes me so sad.

Yea shipping these cases over seas is possible, but you'll cringe at shipping. The $50 shipping was coast to coast as a worst case rate in the states. Eastern half is roughly $20-25 per case, that extends to IL and the middle states as well. One thing to consider with shipping rates, and what I recently learned from my UPS rep, is say person A lives 100 miles from the shipper, and has a 10lbs package. Person B lives 1000 miles away and has a 40lbs package, yet person A has a rate of $45, while B only is $25. Further away, and more weight you would think that person A would be cheaper by a long shot. Consider this, which is very important and applies to 75% or more of Pyros, WHERE you live in relation to the UPS route, has everything to do with your rate.

 

So why were the rates so different, well person A lives 100 miles away, but they also do not have a dedicated UPS route. Meaning you live in rural America, mostly way off farm land or mountains etc. while person B lives right out side of a large city, and had a dedicated UPS route daily. This means UPS doesn't have to go out of the way to make a delivery, like they do for person A, for which they must make a "special" delivery.

 

Once he told me this, it all made sense. Just like the paper deal I have going, to ship to a city in CA cost $30 while a farm in NE cost $50. Just remember that when you cringe at the UPS rates.

And no, but from the 3" sample I received, from what I can tell, they are the average size. Trying to get an answer from China, is like chewing rocks with your teeth.
