victor Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 How the flash powder are permitted in fireworks according to the rules of your country?
Polumna Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 hi mubles 50mg IS A VERY SMALL amount, right??? Here in germany most peoples can get salutes illegal, they contain 1g Flashpowder, but in germany are lots of dumbasses who blow theyr hands up They are used to prevent the birds from eating vine or other seeds they arent ground salutes, they were fired from a gun polumna
cplmac Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Now that sounds like fun, shooting ground salutes from a little salute cannon! In the US 1.3G areal limit is 71 grams, anything larger goes to 1.1G. The CFR was changed last year.
treelover Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Yes, 50 mg is not much (0,05 grams), but with sufficient casing it will make a good bang (if it's good flash). Here in Holland no flash is allowed in ground fireworks, flash can be used in rocket/single-shot-shell burst charges, but only if they also contain stars, nu flash salutes for the Dutch. But every self respecting fireworks enthousiast here goes to Belgium, where flash containing fireworks can be purchased, even 4" salutes are an option if you have the papers (which are not hard to get).
Polumna Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 hi dudes If i it is allowed, here is a Gunsalute-Video: so thats what it is, they are 120-130dB loud.To get rid of the birds Polumna
Mumbles Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Those arn't considered firework type pyrotechnics, so they are not under the same regulations. This info doesn't really help victor out.
