AzoMittle Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 WPA DO-IT 2015: 6" Shells; also known as: "How much lift did you use?!" All shells are 6" plastic with homemade stars. Yes, I love my crossettes for rising effects. I need to work on some of those colors, mostly being too pale, others worked great. If there is interest I am happy to share my formulas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2ni1kyFfBk
Andres1511 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 The very first shell ! What's the purple formula ?Nice breaks, and yes, they fligh high !
dusty56 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Good shells! And I agree, That purple rocks. I'd like to see the formula too.
AzoMittle Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) edit: Here is a more complete post I made in the formulas section of the forum. http://www.amateurpyro.com/forums/topic/11218-2015-expiremental-formulas/ Thanks! I honestly don't remember if that was the pink or purple formula. The one percent KChrome was added as a flame envelope expander however I didn't notice any real effect from it so I wouldn't bother. The magnalium does need to be dichromated though. The pink uses a lot of hygroscopic compounds but it dried just fine in a drying chamber.
