PyroUK Posted September 12, 2015 Author Posted September 12, 2015 It was orbot, with firefox it works. What i was wondering about i could see the order button only on the main page not on the other ones.the site is not finished yet, what do you think of the design?
schroedinger Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Thats all fine and good visibilty of the products, but you really should study the law a little bit, before you really try to go into business.E.g read the 2006/123/EG, your website doesn't meet the international min. Standarts of imprint. Which could make every of your trades insubstantial. In case someone has a problem with you every court will decide against you.2nd Your terms and conditions do the same to you. I'm not sure about point 3, check that with a laywer maybe your are lucky there since you are dealing with explosives, but for everything non explosiv this term won't apply.Term 4 is also nonsense, read the law! As an mail order companje you are responsible for the shipping - not the customer. Term 5 has an other name by law - theft. If you do so and someone reports you, you are facing jail for theft. Every lawyer will also call an intent here. So i really need to wonder, did you even thing about legal things before opening your shop? Today business doesn't start with aquiring goods and making salss. It starts much earlier with planing - specially knowing the law.
schroedinger Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) Also an other question, you know that firecrackers are banned for sale i the uk since 1997.Also if i have a look at your youtube channel, I highly doubt that you are 18 or have a licence.Just taking the obvious things here, sell of illegl fireworks, setting them of (you docu e ted yourself), improper handling and i also assume storage (a bed in a house is no way acceptable for a company) import of illega, fireworks, intent and prob. also done sales. You are facing multiple years of jail, combined with repressions on legal fireworks users in the uk (which really sucks. The UKPS did relly good work in the last years). Edited September 12, 2015 by schroedinger

stix Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) please give me your opinions on my online pyro webshop so far use this form please layout: ___ out of 10design: ___ out of 10easy to use: ___ out of 10your other opinions: website:http://www.pyronut.com Layout: 2 out of 10Design: 2 out of 10Ease of use: unknown The site looks very amateurish, much like the amount of research that's gone into it - and I'm not referring to web design in that instance. If you did get the site up and running, and actually started selling and posting pyro items, then a critique regarding the look and feel of your "online pyro webshop" will be the least of any problems you would be dealing with. Knock! Knock!..... You should have a good chat with an Adult before going any further. Edited September 12, 2015 by stix
schroedinger Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) Sry kid you are so dumb! I had one of your videos open in an unclosed tab, just scrolled down tk the comments, to cite you"I'm from derbyshire" and "I'm not selling at the momment due to the police confiscating".Omg how can you be so dumb? You allready got sewed for this once a d now you try to get back i to business and even bigger? Edited September 12, 2015 by schroedinger
Arthur Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 UK Statute Law establishes clear terms and conditions for distance selling which your T&Cs don't meet. Why do you want to open a UK based web shop when there are several already, sharing a small customer base.
Col Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) There`s room for a few more judging by the prices some are charging I do agree that PyroUk needs to do more research on the legal side, theres new regs coming into force in october that affect web based shops. Another issue with the test website is the "one size fits all" shipping prices, best check the T&C of the carrier(s) you plan to use with regard to dangerous goods. Edited September 12, 2015 by Col
Arthur Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I don't mind the style of the site, but some of the content annoys me. There are too many standard descriptions in there to be helpful. You need to have proof that the fireworks you intend to sell are authorised for sale in the UK, some you list ate NOT. Some are for professional use only, and you put them on open sale. You need to remove all the empty categories -If there is nothing in that category for sale then don't offer a link to it! You make no mention of correct packaging for UK transport You appear to be using an ordinary parcel carrier for hazardous goods which will catch you out very quickly. Hopefully you will get caught before you are 18 so that they can't throw the book at you, otherwise expect illegal sales of explosive articles to cost you your liberty. Also you clearly have no idea of distance selling regulations and your T&Cs, Trading Standards could start to un-ravel you from there too.
