projects in model rocketry

Guys if you can help me out with this one please this time I am entering in science fair but I don't the practical uses of model rockets but I know uses of rocket they are very different actually please can anyone tell me projects in model rocketry

Are you interested in potential uses or current ones? So far I've seen them being used for:

• Aerial photography,
• High altitude atmosphere measurements,
• Small scale tests of new and experimental rocket designs and technologies,
• Entertainment - as toy or for shows,
• Triggered lightning research,
• Military training (dummy target),
• Education, demonstration.

Also the therm model rocket is quite limited and already is a use on it's own. You were probably thinking amateur rocketry.

Then there are potential uses, that are not so widespread but someone might find beneficial (e.g. illumination at night, communications relay).
