braddsn
Yeah, a big OOPS on my part. It had been so long since I rolled them, and they sat for a week or so drying on a screen, that I was just sure that they were dry. But, this is my first year doing pyro, and I started in the Summer. Now that it's Winter, things are taking a lot longer to dry. Also, when I started I didn't have a dehydrator. I must say, the dehydrator (600 Watt unit) has changed everything. I can roll a batch of stars, and generally dry em in 4 hours or less. The dehydrator was only 40 bucks.. a good investment and good tool to have for stars, if you ask me. psypuls
slow gold with sodium nitrate didn't work because the mix wont set itself on fire, but it doesn't matter because I just tried it as a fountain in a core burner tube and WOW this fountain is glorious! very cozy i must say. and you can hold it in your hand with no worries because it burns so slowly and comfortably with thick gold shower sparks. im gonna make a few of these fountains!
