matchstick Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) Ok, so i found a supplier that sells commercially purpose built lead dioxide anodes, built for producing perchlorate,I was wondering, how much would you pay, for a PbO2 anode, which comes preassembled with a 100mmx10mm strap, with PbO2 bound to titanium mesh, the dimensions being 100x100x~5-7mm So, how much would you pay, and how much would you expect such an anode to be worth?Im considering reselling them, if it actually works well for me and lasts long enough. so i bought one as a sample in my large MMO mesh order. Also, if this isnt your ideal size, what is? and how much would you pay for one such? Edited November 22, 2014 by matchstick

Arthur Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Has the supplier said what chemistry is best used with these electrodes? It is my personal opinion that the saturated sodium salt electrolyte is easier on electrodes than the potassium salt electrolyte. SO FAR we have LOTS of variations in theories about how to make the cell work. Having found a supplier then it would be better to take their advice about how to use the electrode.
