roughly 50:40:10 KNO3 b.p. +5% dex + 5% red gum + 8-10 Ti and cut 1/2 inch with 2-3fa b.p. burst and a small bag with 5 grams mill dust with 10% spherical Ti placed center for a silver petal effect. Final shell weight 413 grams lifted with 33 grams 2fa b.p.

Nice shell, when i saw the video with that sound i though you had at least 10 g of booster in it, but then i read that it is only bp without filler, amazing.

I really like the idea with the ti in a bag to get a silver petall, got to write that down.

Just one big bad problem, you got a perfect first timer not but only got 3/4 of the break on tape (-;

Was that an all BP shell? No boost? Way to go!

Thanks guys...yeah the loss off screen is the part that sucks about not having a good camera and recording on the phone.

Let me gues as you used straight bp for burst 180g?

That was a helluva nice shell Roger!

Naw maybe 85 grams burst. The stars were huge after priming. I'm sure the b.p. priming on the stars contribute to the burst though.

Thanks BB!

Great shell.

I like the titanium petal effect. Didnt know that that works so well. Maybe a idea to use a Longer burning glitters for the outside.

Nice job

thank you everyone. to be nice to the neighbors, that will be my last 4 inch until new years. they're far enough away i don't have to worry about duds and fallout but it was far louder than anything else i've experimented with. the blast hung in the air longer than a 1 pound tannerite target. me likey!

Very nice shell and great idea with the inner petal. The japanese use a similar method for making multi-petal shells. I hate the let down after a great shell and you go back to watch the video and only half of it is in the frame, or it's out of focus... Luckily, we don't judge each other on our photography skills. :)
