Dean411 Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Thanks guys I put a ton of work into those shells and video doesn't really do them justice. Dag, if all goes as planned you will see me competing at 2016 PGI in LaPorte. I also owe Burning RNX some credit for explaining the building of the rising effects which are my favorite rising effect. Thanks again guys,Dean

Thanks again guys,Dean You will be a fantastic addition to the competition Dean. Large shells are the favorite of many, can't wait to see what you bring to the table.
nater Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 At least on my netbook, the color change is not as evident as it was in person. They were spectacular shells.
gregh Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Even though the recording I am sure doesn't do them justice, they still looked great on my computer. I was shocked at first because I only halfway read the title of the thread and in my head I read "2 1/2 inch shells".... I saw the video and thought, damn I must be a slacker if he do do that with a 2.5 incher... haha Then I reread and didn't feel so bad about myself.
Dean411 Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Thanks again guys, I am sure Basement bomber got great video as he has the perfect camera for pyro filmingbut with the small number of member shells I dont know if he will post the video.Dean

fredjr Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Minor point but my home club is Bluegrass Pyro Guild not Ohio like was announced at MFF... The 10" was a pattern shell that didn't quite do what I planned. The 12" was willow diadem wih verigated inner petals.
nater Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Fred, Mike and I cringed when we heard the announcer say you were from OPAG. We apologize for that.
Dean411 Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 They were both nice shells, I was the one helping you get the sign posts from the back of you car.I think you left to glue rocket sticks on and nobody knew the details of the shells. Yours were very nice I likes the 12 of yours as well. Dean
braddsn Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Wow! Perfect shells man! Would you mind sharing the strobing comp at the end of the 2nd shell? Love it.
Dean411 Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 Kind of late on the response but the strobe is just bleser white strobe rolled to 1/4 inch Dean
