VikingPyrotechnics Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Just a little playing with these type of shells latley.... For my first try i build a small 4" cylinder with some ti-salutes and some 30 mm titanium streamer inserts with titanium breaks........ My small 30mm inserts. http://fireworking.com/sites/default/files/u19249/IMG-20140909-WA0023.jpg I could put much more inserts in the shell and more different timings, but this was my first try and it worked pretty good. The next one will be a bit bigger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzoUpqUpV0E GreetsVP
pyrokid Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Great timing! I love those TI comets! The Japanese do an effect I like, where all the stars in each insert will be the same color except for one, which is a contrasting color. It's a great take on the scatter star effect.
asdercks Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Loved it, what composition did you used for the streamers?
a_bab Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Really nice shell. Let's put this straight: TR used to be my inspiration. Now it's you !
VikingPyrotechnics Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Thank you guys ! :-) Loved it, what composition did you used for the streamers? I used TigerWillow3 for the inserts :-) 1

VikingPyrotechnics Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Very nice viking, I want to get into more cannister style shells in the future . you do make some nice stuff. Dean Thank you Since I can not wait to see how the shell is with all the inserts, I had to immediately assemble the shell...........But the next one i´m not gonna build this shell up side down again. I startet the casing like i do it on a normal color shell and installed the spollette at the beginning. Not the best idea if you plan to use a bottom shot :-/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOkpk77IlG4 VP
Zmuro Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Thank you guys ! :-) I used TigerWillow3 for the inserts :-)Can you share the formula for these stars? Did you screen the composition or ballmill?
Niladmirari Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Cool effect. What is the size of titanium in the stars? С8?
VikingPyrotechnics Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 Ok guys, here is the final shell. I think it worked pretty good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qNPYnJcyig GreetsVP ps: i will post the streamer formula as soon as possible :-)
schroedinger Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Very nice, too bad that the camera spoiled the first break a little bit.
